Recently I had an issue with my truck involving a cracked flex plate. I set an appointment with Kams and brought it in to get it looked at. Within the first 10 minutes they were able to determine what exactly was wrong with the truck. They explained what exactly needed to be replaced, why and ball-park of how much it would cost. My truck does not have its original engine so they had to find a flex plate that would work with both its engine with no records and its transmission. The first flex plate had cracked because a different shop that replaced the engine had apparently cut a few corners in the fix. Kams could have done the same thing but they wanted to make sure it was done right so that is exactly what they did. It took a few more hours to find the part that was needed; which is very fast considering they did not have any numbers or codes to go off of. They were very friendly and happy to have me come by and check on my truck. I know where I'll be going the next time I have an issue that I'm not able to fix myself!

I have always felt KAMS is an honest auto shop with good mechanics and staff. They will not tell you there is problem if there isn't. I had a tail light and side view mirror installed and they did a great job. The labor to just instal them was pretty steep though. I'd probably of done it myself had I thought it cost so much. The tail light was quick and fairly priced but the side mirror was really expensive. Never the less, great auto shop with good people there.

They were thorough and friendly, very helpful. Not pushy like most auto places and only did what you asked them to do from the list of possible things they could do. Reasonably priced as well.
