Only been there one time, last week. It was a pleasant experience. Staff was friendly and courteous. Work was done quickly and so far, seems to have been of good quality. Someone from the shop called today to follow up on my satisfaction with the work. This one and only experience was satisfactory, so, I intend to go back when I have the need.

We moved to the area almost 2 years ago. We have taken both our cars to Kams. The work they do is always great. I'm sure there are places where you might be able to get the work done slightly cheaper but not for better quality. My favorite part is I am female and I'm only 21. I am the prime target to try and rip off when it comes to motor vehicles. (Although I know much more about cars than it looks.) They have never done any thing I didn't expect or anything that made me nervous. I never feel like I need to drag my big bad hubby in there to make sure no one messes with me and our car.
They are always very quick. Most recently I came in to have the front struts redone on my minivan. Our other vehicle is only a two seater Mazda Miata. So when the minivan needs a repair we hope it's quick or we need to rent a car. I made a appointment for Friday. Dropped my daughter off at a friends house. When I arrived I told them I was going to wait for the car to be done. The estimated time I was given on the phone when I scheduled my appointment was 4 hours. They double checked that I still wanted to wait, even offered to drive me home with their shuttle service. But their shuttle service only goes a 5 mile radius of the shop, my home is 10 miles away. I told them I knew how long it would take, and I had planned for this. I had brought a few books, snacks, and had someone to watch my 18 month old who quickly looses patience in lobbies. The only thing I wish they had was something to entertain her when I come in for oil changes and things. I waited. They kept checking on me and my vehicle. I was out of there between 2.5-3 hours max! It was great.
They noticed my rear wheel bearings need replacing soon but didn't come out and try to sell to me. They just wrote a quote at the bottom of my receipt. So when I do need them done I know what it will cost me.
Kams is great I would recommend them to anyone. They are honest, and have caught a few issues on our van a previous mechanic had bodged. Their customer service is great so is the quality of work they do. The one time we had to bring something back they apologized profusely and fixed it VERY quickly. We love Kams.

While I am very happy with the work performed, I am not happy that I was promised, when I made the appointment, the car would be ready by 1:30PM but work on it was not started until after noon. This caused me to have to borrow a car at the last minute in order to accomplish what I needed to do after 1:30PM (pick up child at school, wife at work, medical appointment). Since you've always had my vehicles ready on time when prior service was done, I'll put this down to a hiccup in your service.Like I said before, I am very happy with the work done. Engine is running very smoot and quiet.
